Lauren began her dance training in New England, first at Bakers Dance Studio and Kaleidoscope of Dance and Gymnastics and continuing with studies at Erica’s Dance Academy for 12 years. Her training encompassed all dance forms – Contemporary, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet, and Acro. At the age of 10, she began dancing competitively where she earned titles including Teen Miss ADA, Senior Miss Headliner, and Senior Miss Starstruck.  At the age of 12, Lauren’s curiosity for teaching began as she was selected and trained to be an assistant teacher at her studio. She began choreographing solos at the age of 16. Lauren is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Dance. While at the university, Lauren studied Tap, Jazz, Aerial, and choreography. These studies allowed her to showcase her own choreography in student recitals put on by the dance program. She was a part of the UNH Dance Company during her junior and senior years where she specialized in Jazz, Tap, and Aerial. During her time in the UNH dance program, she was a part of the college’s first-ever certification course in becoming an aerial dance instructor. Lauren currently teaches at two dance studios in New Hampshire and has earned her Acro Instructor Certification through Acrobatic Arts. As an instructor she teaches all ages and levels in almost every dance form and choreographs for their competition teams. Lauren is an active company member and choreographer of Passion Dance Project, an adult dance company based in the NH Seacoast and is a dedicated and active member of the dance community where she enjoys sharing her passion with others.
